Bachelor Of Business Information Technology​

This degree will provide you with a fundamental knowledge of IT along with skills in key areas including cloud computing and mobile application development. It will enable you to keep your options wide open in the IT industry.


As a graduate of this degree, you will:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• KCSE Mean grade of C+

• 6 Credits at O-Level, A-Level 2 principal passes and 1 subsidiary.

• IB minimum 30 out of 45 points.

• A distinction in the Strathmore entrance exam.

• Proven leadership skills in school & community and outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities are an added advantage.

All candidates meeting the entry requirements are required to sit the University entrance examination in English, Mathematics, and an oral interview.

Interviews are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8.00 a.m.

Candidates are required to bring original and photocopies of all relevant academic testimonials, 2 passport-size photographs, and KES 2,000 entrance exam fee.

Intakes for the full-time programme are in March and June.

Intakes for the evening programme are in May and September.

Only Strathmore DBIT graduates can qualify for exemptions.
