Buckingham MOU Signing
We are pleased to announce that Strathmore University and University of Buckingham have signed an MoU. This collaboration aims to enhance student and staff mobility and foster joint research initiatives.
Over the past couple of days, students from the Strathmore Law School (SLS) and School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) had informative and engaging guest lectures with the Professors from the University of Buckingham gaining knowledge on human security, intelligence, and sustainability.
Finnish-Kenyan collaboration spurs transformation in education with TOTEMK initiative
The University’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) hosted the launch of the 5th MOOC of Training Trainers for Teacher Education and Management in Kenya (TOTEMK). This is an extended MOOC that allows all studies and assessments to be done online.
Industry Mentors Breakfast
The VC attended the Mentor’s breakfast session where they were exploring the theme of sustaining work environments as well as the significance and role of industry mentoring in fostering excellence at work.
ASEAN Guest Lecture
On Valentine’s day, 14th February 2024, H.E Dr. Mohamad Hery Saripudid, Indonesian Ambassador to Kenya H.E Ms. Charlotte G. Tang Philippine Ambassador to Kenya paid a courtesy visit. The Ambassadors were set for a guest lecture with students to delve into the workings of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Committee and their efforts to foster bilateral partnerships in Africa.
