The S. M. Shah Nyahururu Scholarship (SMSNS) has been established in the honour and memory of Shantilal Mohanlal Shah (S. M. Shah) founded on his two mottos:

1. Service to Mankind is service to God.
2. Utilise wealth for the maximum benefit of the maximum number of people.

The scholarship is awarded to one bright and needy student every year for the study of Bachelor of Informatics and Computer Science at Strathmore University.

Applications for admission to qualify for the scholarship will be offered to students who meet the following criteria;

• Must be KCSE 2019 or 2020 graduates who scored at least a Mean Grade A
• Must prove financial neediness.

Applying for financial aid is done annually, paying attention to deadlines is crucial. Obtain, read, complete, and return your application early.

1. Ensure that you meet the requirements for the financial aid you wish to apply.
2. Students must apply for financial aid online through this link: https://su-sso.strathmore.edu/fa
3. Attach the necessary supporting documents such as copies of your KCSE results, Strathmore University admission letter, and proof of financial neediness.
4. Await notification on the status of your financial aid application, if your application is successful, you will be given an offer letter. Carefully review and follow the terms and conditions on the financial aid offer letter.
