Students

  • All students will ensure that they wear masks at all times while in the University.
  • Students will be required to learn remotely if they are at high risk of complications from COVID-19, are sick, or may be taking care of someone at high risk.
  • Strathmore University Medical Centre has catalogued helpful information and tools focused on coping during COVID-19 and offers assessments and counseling via telephonic or video sessions (https://sumc.strathmore.edu/our-services/).
  • Students will be responsible for cleaning their own classroom seats with provided disinfectant wipes.
  • Students are asked to avoid gathering unnecessarily in classrooms, lounges, common areas, and other University spaces.
  • Students should avoid using shared equipment and materials whenever possible.
  • All the seats to be used in class have been arranged to ensure adequate social distancing. In addition, only 50% the capacity of classrooms will be used.
  • Students who exhibit flu-like symptoms will not be allowed into the University.
