Albert Einstein once said that nothing happens unless something  moves. The Alumni Relations department is moving to greater heights after signing an Agreement with Graduway, an Alumni Network and Digital Career Community Software. The online platform, already in use at Strathmore University Business School for the past four years, will improve the University’s engagement with the Alumni Community.

As a pacesetter in the social media arena, Graduway focuses on upgrading university contact with its alumni members. Its diverse multi-lingual exchange has attracted over 900 institutions and is in almost 60 countries worldwide. Reaching past-Stratizens will be now be prompt and beyond our current trajectory.

A Game Changer

Graduway integrates the use of social networks such as LinkedIn, Gmail, Facebook to create connections. The different basic engagement features in the platform include: Giving back (willing to help), fundraising, mentoring, career possibilities, directory, groups, social media, events and email marketing. With such linkages Strathmore will have a greater impact resulting from connecting to the masses with no limitation due to physical absence. Secondly, more significant relationships will be nurtured between the University and its Alumni through informing them of relevant happenings of their former habitat and leaving them yearning for more. In addition, having Graduway  on board ensures that Alumni details are up to date so as to be more efficient and effective when engaging all Stratizens. The above efforts will transform our alumni into our brand ambassadors who offer invaluable publicity across their personal and professional networks.

Whether you are an alumnus looking to reconnect with classmates or you are inspired to generously support important learning or community initiatives at Strathmore, there are endless opportunities to get involved, stay connected and make an impact. Do not let your Strathmore experience end at your graduation.
