Three SFAE students to present papers at the African Finance Journal Conference in Durban

Three School of Finance and Applied Economics (SFAE) students from the graduating class will present research papers at the Africa Finance Journal (AFJ) Conference in Durban, South Africa on May 14 & 15, 2014. Hazel Ndiho (BBS Financial Economics), Theuri Chege (BBS Finance) and Anthony Wagacha (BBS Actuarial Science) will be accompanied by their supervisor Mr Ferdinand Othieno. The students hope to use the comments from this conference to add value to their papers before publication by reputable journals.
The AFJ Conference is an annual event that allows scholars to peer review each other’s work. The theme of this years conference is Research Trends in Accounting, Finance and Economics for Africa’s Development.
Other Kenyans invited to the conference include Dr Anne Kamau, Dr Esman Nyamongo, Dr Maureen Were, all from the Central Bank of Kenya and our very own Dr Odongo Kodongo.
