Strathmore University will this Friday the 12th September receive guests from the German Embassy and the German Academic exchange service (DAAD). The guests will be coming to present to the School of Humanities and Social Sciences German books that the German Embassy has purchased for the German section. In addition, they will give a talk on the importance of learning/studying German. The DAAD will give more information about the numerous scholarships that they offer to Postgraduate students in all disciplines at various levels as well as scholarship opportunities for university staff. Strathmore University staff members interested in DAAD scholarships are highly invited to come and benefit from this information and ask the questions that they might have concerning DAAD scholarships. Am Freitag dem 12. September 2014 um 14 Uhr empfängt Strathmore Universitat Gäste von der deutschen Botschaft Nairobi und  dem deutschen akademischen Austauschdiest (DAAD). Die Gäste werden der SHSS eine Bücherspende leisten, die die deutsche Botschaft zur Förderung des Detschlernens freundlicherweise zur Verfügung gestellt hat. Auf dem Besuchsprogramm ist auch ein Vortrag zum Thema Deutschlernen und Deutschstudieren vorgesehen, wobei die Vorteile und Möglichkeiten beim Deutschlehrnen erklärt werden sollen. Darüber hinaus wird viel Information über DAAD Stipendien gegeben. Diese Information ist sowohl für Studierenden als auch alle Kollegen nützlich, insbesondere diejenigen, die promovieren wollen. Demnach werden alle Fragen zur Promotionsmoglichkeiten in Deutschland gerne beantwortet. Alle Kollegen sind HERZLICH WILLKOMMEN!
