On the 19th of August, Strathmore University election delegates voted in the eighth SU Students Council. The elections were a culmination of two weeks of peaceful and exciting electoral campaigns. The successful elections saw nine new office bearers voted in out of the nineteen candidates.

 

“ I feel humbled to have been voted to lead the eighth student council and I know with the team I have we will make the student experience better during our term. We count on the support of the university administration and that of our fellow students to realise our manifestos” Said the new Chairman, Daniel Ochieng

 

The election committee would like to thank all Strathmore students for conducting themselves in a very good manner during the campaigns especially at the debates and speeches where candidates differed.

 

The nine members of the 8^th Student Council 2016-2017 are:
