The participating students came from 18 schools with each student sitting for the mathematics exams that ran for 2 hours for senior 6 level and an hour for the other levels.

The students received their results on the same day and the top 3 students of each senior class awarded with medals. Certificates of participation were awarded to all students who attended the contest.

The teachers representing the school were excited about this competition, stating that it encouraged healthy competition among the schools.
