Strathmore University Earmarked To Conduct Full ITax Training

Strathmore University in collaboration with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) organized The University iTax Training and Filing event at the Strathmore University grounds. An event that attracted a huge turnout from both students and staff.
A partnership between KRA and Strathmore University was also sealed. The university was selected among the TOP 10 leading private universities that were earmarked to conduct the full iTax training.
Training revolving around the use of the iTax system took place at the event where KRA Officials guided the students and staff on the use of the iTax System and its significance.
The trainings sought to act as eye-openers to students on the role of KRA in revenue collection as well as to better enlighten people on their newly introduced iTax System.
Thereafter, a number of students were able register themselves and were issued with new KRA PINs, while those who came with P9 forms were instructed and assisted in filing their returns.
The forum later saw the birth of Strathmore University Tax Club. Registration and Recruitment of members to this club is ongoing.
