Strathmore University community enjoyed their Annual Sports day event that took place on 25^th August, 2017, with the School of Management and Commerce (SMC) bagging the overall winning trophy.

Schools, faculties and staff members got the opportunities to defend their departments, to outshine their opponents and attain trophies in the different matches.

Teams participated in inter-faculty games in hockey, soccer, basketball, rugby, handball, volleyball, chess, table tennis, archery and athletics. This year, a lot more women group participated in soccer, encouraging a high turnout of lady participants.

Students also participated in selling of food and drinks at the field, providing a spirit of entrepreneurship encouraged at the university.
