During the recently concluded period of the 2016 income tax returns, Strathmore University Tax Club partnered with KRA offices to assist taxpayers with their filings.  The three day process, from 28^th, 29^th and 30^th June, a total of 22 students were deployed in various stations across Nairobi, together with tax ambassadors from other universities to meet the obligations.

The students enhanced their knowledge on taxation matters, as they attended to people with various tax issues. The students also gained experience in corporate work putting into practice what they learn in taxation classes.

The club is grateful to the KRA offices for believing in their knowledge and ability to help, and granting them opportunities to learn deeper.

The Club also encourages students to cease such opportunities in future, as they are perfect opportunities to blend classroom knowledge with the job market expectations.
