Defending Champions Strathmore Leos are seeded first as in the Division One category of the 28th edition of the Great Rift Top Fry 10-Aside. The tournament heads back to the NAC this weekend.

Divided into two divisions, the first division will hold 20 teams divided into five pools with each pool holding four teams while the second division will have a total of twelve teams; four pools each having three teams.

Strathmore Leos headline pool E that comprise of Varsity sides Mean Machine, USIU and MKU Thika. Kabras Sugar RFC who finished as runners up in last year’s tournament will spear head pool F where they are joined by the Catholic Monks, Egerton Wasps and Mwamba RFC.

Pool G holds the Sportpesa Quins together with Technical University of Kenya, KCA and lastly, the Menengai Oilers. Hosts Top Fry Nakuru are top of Pool H, Menengai Cream Homeboyz RFC are seeded second in this pool followed by Brumbies and Kenyatta University’s BlakBlad who are seeded fourth.

The last Pool in the Division One category is Pool I which sees Plate winners headline the group together with plate finalists Resolution Impala Saracens. The JKUAT Cougars are seeded third in this pool while Eldoret RFC comes in fourth.
