Strathmore Rugby team (Leos) players Alex Olaba and Elkeans Musonye were among six selected players, who made their international debut on Sunday 20th August, 2017, in the 1st test match against Hong Kong at RFUEA grounds here in Nairobi.

Sunday’s opening test ended all square, 19-19 after eighty minutes of play.

Alex Olaba, playing for Simbas, turned on the afterburners landing his maiden try on the left flank for a 14-12 score. He was given an off load pass from his team mate Elkeans where he sprinted 22 meters to touch for a try.

The Simbas team is preparing for the World Cup qualifiers and the World Cup next year. The two will be key players in the 2017/2018 season locally.

Both players play in the Strathmore Rugby team; Olaba is a center and Elkeans is the 8th man.

These two players will be key in the 2017/2018 Kenya Cup season locally.
