Strathmore University Institute of Mathematical Sciences (SIMS) through a strong collaboration with Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC), signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will see the two join efforts in research, student support, student internship opportunities and financial literacy.

The two-year plan will see SIMS and KDIC collaborate in providing a strong pillar in capacity building, which is set to improve the nation’s financial status.

KDIC CEO Mr. Mohamud A. Mohamud, SIMS Dean Mr. Ferdinard Othieno and SIMS Academic Director Dr. Caroline Kariuki were present at the signing ceremony.
