Strathmore Financial Aid office hosted its annual Strathmore University Scholars Luncheon and Award ceremony, where they awarded 2017 graduate scholars for their excellence and commitment towards attaining top grades in school. Current and past external donors were also honored for their contribution towards the Strathmore Scholarship and Loan noble cause.

1^st year students on scholarship and loan were inducted at the ceremony, where they got a chance to learn from different speakers how to maintain top scores while studying.

The Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs – Dr. Elizabeth Gachenga – took time to describe and analyse successful outcomes that emerged from this initiative. In her opening remarks, Dr. Gachenga stated that 10,000 students have benefited from Strathmore University financial aid, adding that it would not be a success story without the support given by all donors.

Class of 2017 scholars were awarded in the categories of sports, leadership, work-study and academics, while Scholarship and/or Loan partners were awarded for their contributions.
