Elimisha Stratizen campaign, founded in the year 2012, is a student based initiative that works at raising funds to support needy students on campus. Through various events and initiatives such as these, well-wishers are given opportunities to support the needy cause to help students by donating funding in kind.

The vision of Elimisha Stratizen is to enable Stratizens to continue with their University education comfortably. Its aim has been to raise at least Kshs. 5 million converting it to a fully self-sustainable endowment fund. With the help of the Community Service Centre (CSC), Class representatives, Elimisha Stratizen ambassadors and other patriotic Stratizens, the initiative has moved closer and closer to its achieving its goal.

At this particular event, participants took part in a marathon where 1st, 2nd and 3rd position winners won cash prize money of Kshs. 30,000, 15,000 and 7,000 respectively. Other participants took part in races and were awarded medals of participation.
