The official opening and consecration ​of St. Agnes Catholic Church Chebarus, was conducted by His Lordship Rt. Rev Maurice Anthony Crowley on Easter Sunday – 1st April 2018.

It was a colorful ceremony attended by faithful from the Parish.

The Bishop called on the congregation to engage in daily prayers especially through the rosary, and to rope in more and more people into the church with a special emphasis on the youth and men.

The Bishop and speakers gave heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Samuel Motari, who donated the church land and is the current chairman of the council, as well as others who made significant contributes towards completing the building.

A special mention went out to Strathmore University Community Outreach programme and the benefactors from Spain. The chairman was emphatic in saying that the University contributed through cash and labor.
