SFAE Students Set to Visit University of Oxford & Goldman Sachs

Strathmores School of Finance and Applied Economics (SFAE) fourth year students will be travelling to the United Kingdom (UK) from Sunday 19th July to Saturday 25th July, 2015 for one of a kind academic trips.
Starting from the Capital City of England; London, the team will proceed southwest to Oxford, then northeast to Manchester and finally northwest to Scotland. The group will be visiting top ranking academic institutions which include; London School of Economics (LSE), University of Oxford, Cass Business School. University of Manchester, University of Strathclyde and University of Glasgow.
Whats more? The team will also have a chance to visit The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. Goldman Sachs is a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm that provides a wide range of financial services to a substantial and diversified client base which includes; corporations, financial institutions, and governments. A one of a kind opportunity for BBS Financial Economics Students to have a firsthand experience with their future career.
Moreover, the students have gotten an invitation to visit the Bank of England, which is the central bank of the United Kingdom; sometimes known as the Old Lady of Threadneedle Street. The school expects a few more invitations from other companies and organizations.
The SFAE Research Strategy is to build on its well-established expertise in the quantitative modelling of Finance, Economics & Actuarial problems while broadening its scope to develop related areas within these fields. The key will be to exploit areas of subject, industrial, and academic linkages.
