Registration Open: Linux System Administration

Strathmore University is now an accredited Linux Professional Institute (LPI) Training Partner. We are now able to offer training leading to Linux Professional Institutes industry standard certifications, a distribution-neutral, high quality and highly regarded Linux industry certification that relies on critical input from numerous Linux experts and that employs scientific and industry-recognized psychometric processes.
The University will in the initial stages be able to offer preparation leading to LPI-1 certification, a junior level certification for Linux system administrators performing maintenance tasks with the command line, installing & configuring workstations and configuring a basic network. With time, the faculty should be able to offer preparation leading to LPI-2 certification aimed at advanced Linux professionals that can administer small to medium sized mixed networks and provide suggestions to upper management and eventually LPI-3 certification aimed at senior-level Linux professionals in an enterprise environment able to conceptualize, architect, install and troubleshoot LDAP software and integrate with Active Directory.
