Public Lecture: The Failure of Education and the current state of the Arab world

There will be a public lecture by Professor Safwan Masri titled ‘The Failure of Education and the current state of the Arab world’ at SBS on 20th March 2014.

Professor Safwan Masri is the Executive Vice President for Global Centers and Global Development, Columbia University. Professor Masri’s current area of interest and study is global education with an emphasis on education reform in the Middle East.

Professor Masri was Vice Dean of Columbia Business School for 13 years; he has consulted widely on operations management, particularly supply chain management.
