Proposed Master of Laws (LL.M.) Stakeholders Forum

Strathmore Law School (SLS) hosted, renown scholars and personalities from Kenyas legal community for the Stakeholders Forum Programme for proposed Master of Laws (LL.M.) courses. William Maema of Iseme Kamau & Maema Advocates, and Ms Mary Mugure of The Council of Legal Education were among legal personalities who shared their knowledge regarding the LL.M. program intended to start.
The Forum focused on the various courses that the school opted to offer highlighting the reasons for offering such courses, as well as the uniqueness they will have as a result of them being offered at Strathmore. The various presentations detailed the very structure and course outline of the courses, as per the guidelines of the Council of Legal Education. The emphasize on offering law graduates high quality services in a competitve market was evident in all presentations.
The forum provided feedback sessions constructive for critisism, opinions and suggestions that were offered by the audience on each presentation, so as to meet the demand of a good quality masters program that is not only affordable but also available to all. The university was commended for uniqely planning a masters program at such a timely manner.
