Pan Africa Strathmore Leos Representatives in the National 15s Side Gain Victory

Pan Africa Strathmore Leos rugby players represented Kenya in the national 15s team side that took on the Uganda Cranes in the first leg of the ?ELGON CUP on Saturday 13th June at the RFUEA grounds. The Strathmore team comprised of; 

 

  • McLanhan Sikuku
  • Michael Gitau
  • Charles Omondi
  • Cyprian Kuto
  • Elton Isiaho
  • Mitch Ocholla (Team’s head coach)

Brian Nyikuli the captain of the Kenya 15s and Ken Andola of Pan Africa Strathmore Leos, represented the Kenya 15s squad in playing Zimbabwe in the CAR Division 1A Championship match in Harare on the same day.

 

Kenya A won narrowly in an exciting match that saw the team’s head coach Mitch Ocholla impressed by the results. Charles Omondi of Panafrica Leos was the top scorer with 2 tries while Cyprian Kutto of Strathmore was awarded the prestigious award of MAN OF THE MATCH.

 

The return leg will be played on 20th June, 2015 in Kampala.
