Late BN7 Basketball Tournament was held on Saturday 15^th July, 2017 at Strathmore University Sports Complex grounds. A Total of 8 teams took part in the day long tournament, hosted to celebrate and mark the Late Bill Nyagosia’s anniversary. The Late Bill was the former captain of the basketball team that takes part in the Kenya Basketball premier league. Bill passed away on 19^th July 2016.

The finals pitted BN7 and @Mueni with BN7 represented by Blades head coach, Tonny Ochieng, Shilton Ochieng, Fredrick Otieno, George Okoth, Edga Miheso , Nelson Mandela and Muga Martin beating @Mueni  55-50. @Mueni had stars, Joseph Ongoro, Pascal Nabwana. Samuel Mogoko, Aduke Amos, Allan Oeino.

Nelson Mandela was voted MVP of the tournament while Samuel Oloo won the 3 points shooting completion and received cash prize of Ksh 1,000.

The finalist were awarded medals and trophies by Ronald Owino who represented the Sports department in the event

The teams that took part were Alumni, warriors, APA Insurance, Blades 11, Wazee and Strathmore. The tournament will be held annually and Billy Nyagosia foundation funded by the Alumni will be launched to help needy, bright but talented basketballers.
