The effective management of knowledge is a critical ingredient for organizations seeking to ensure sustainable strategic competitive advantage.
It has been brought out that processes and technology alone are not enough to drive an organisation, but its people (staff) and the knowledge that reside in the people are a very integral pivot in organizations successes. Therefore, in order for an organisation to be successful, attention must be paid, not only on the processes and technology, but on knowledge and its workforce.
The aim of the workshop was to that improve the ability of organizations to solve problems better, adapt, evolve to meet changing business requirements, and survive disruptive changes such as staff turnover.
Coming through this process helped me realize that it`s not rocket science, it`s taking the theory and applying it in a structured way. I like the fact that it`s do-able” said Ms. Mary Ajwang (KASNEB staff member) as she described the workshop.
