Research Development Workshop in Accounting & Finance

The Strathmore School of Management & Commerce is pleased to announce a collaborative joint event with the African Accounting and Finance Association and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK for the 1st Research Development Workshop in Accounting and Finance.

The workshop provides a platform for discussion of research ideas; methods and statistical dilemmas as well as an opportunity for participants to interact with senior researchers, and distinguished guest featured professors:

•Prof Mathew Tsamenyi (University of Birmingham)
•Prof Kwaku Opong (University of Glasgow)
•Dr. Jacob Odour (Research Economist AfDB-Tunisia)

Aspiring researchers in accounting & finance, any registered PhD students in Kenyan Universities are invited to attend and submit unpublished articles, work in progress and PhD research proposals/concept papers to be considered for presentation. Written feedback will be provided to presenters prior to the workshop on Friday 2nd August 2013.
