Innovation in Service Award

Have you ever yearned for an opportunity to personally lead the transformation of the needy in society, but had financing as a wall barring you from offering aid?
Well, if you have been in that state before, or you currently are, COP and Local Lives Foundation seek to offer you a solution through the Innovation in Service Award, which aims at encouraging students to engage more strategically with a change agenda of their choice.
We purpose to motivate students through the Award to actively engage with each other in order to present a series of proposals to a joint COP/Local Lives award committee. While only one team of students can ultimately get the Award, which must be spent on implementing the winning idea, the process also aims to help students think strategically about the ways that they can have impact, even in small matters, and in this manner it would harness to some extent the wealth of ideas out there and give students a more long-term vision of the role they can play in development.
