In light of the events related to the drill incident that took place on 30^th November, 2015, kindly note the following:-

 

1. Medical claims

Medical claims include all persons still undergoing treatment and all medical fees paid personally by the affected persons and not yet reimbursed by the University.

 

All medical claims should be lodged with the Human Resource Department by filling in a form for that purpose.They should be accompanied with evidence of payment of medical fees where applicable.

 

All medical claims should be registered by 5pm, Wednesday, 17^th February, 2016. This is the closure date for all such claims.

 

2. Material losses, damages and personal injuries

Material losses and damages include, among others, lost and damaged phones, laptops and spectacles. Personal Injuries include any physical injury suffered by a person during the drill.

 

Please note that a Public Forum has been organised for all claimants of compensation for material losses and damages. The Forum will take place at the University Auditorium at 3pm, Monday,15^th February, 2016 and it will address the manner of honouring the said claims.
