Dream Come True as Top KCSE Students Receive Full Scholarships at Strathmore

17 year old Bernard Mwangi, top student nationwide in last year’s KCSE results, rejoices on receiving a scholarship from Strathmore University to study a course in Computer Science. Bernard is among 30 students who received scholarships to attend the university.

Bernard stated that he was elated to get this scholarship, “I felt honored to receive a scholarship to study at Strathmore University. I thank the school for this opportunity.”

The privileged students came from top schools that included Alliance Girls High School, The Kenya Highschool, Strathmore School, Moi High School Kabarack, and Loreto High School Limuru among others.

Angela Nelima Wamalwa, 17 years of age, attained a grade A of 82 marks positioning her at number 10 nationwide. Angela, a past student of Loreto High School Limuru, is keen on studying Finance. She hoped to get a scholarship into university as a way of giving thanks to her hardworking parents for schooling her throughout the years.

“I hoped to provide some form of gratitude to my parents, to show them the thanks they deserve for pushing me through primary and secondary. They are so happy that I got a scholarship here. Strathmore has opened doors to many students in need, we are so grateful for that,” Angela exclaimed.

The students will have an opportunity to pick a course in either Diploma or Undergraduate from an array of programs Strathmore offers.
