Community Week: July 14th – 26th 2014

As we welcome first years to Strathmore University, there is no better way to integrate them into our culture of service than through the Community Week. Strathmore Community Week is a time the University dedicates to create awareness of the many varied social, economic and cultural problems experienced by the wider community and helping in their alleviation. This is a crucial part of Strathmores efforts to provide an all round education.
The community week tradition began in 2008 and has since become a crucial part of the annual Strathmore calendar. This year it will run from July 14th – 26th, 10 week-days, in commemoration of Community Outreach Programmes (COP) 10th anniversary.
We call on all members of the Strathmore Fraternity to capitalize on this chance and give back to society. Students, lecturers and departments are all encouraged to give a donation in support of this years campaign.
We also take this opportunity to invite all who are willing to be of service to others and make new friends, to experience lifes lessons at its best.
For those who will participate, feel free to share your experiences with us on Twitter using the
