The Chasepreneur Challenge is an offering by Chase Bank Kenya in liaison with one of the University clubs, the Strathmore University Media Group (SUMG) which promises the winner 50,000 Shillings for their troubles.


A competition launched on 8th November, 2013 during the SUMG Media Week is targeting young and upcoming entrepreneurs. The Chasepreneur Challenge is the latest series of offerings from Chase Bank Kenya where participants are educated on social media channels and gets to participate exclusively on an online platforms, especially on Face book, they also get to interact in the same forum. The  participant who attracts the most liked ‘Comment’ on their questions or answers to the challenges given out each day, gets to walk away with Kshs. 50,000 as startup capital for their business idea.


Branded Hustlenomics 101, the challenge seeks to bring out the entrepreneurial spirit in students and a strong motivation of cash money to start on a business idea that one has been thinking about. Increasingly, students get a paradigm shift in seeking alternative options; to be business owners, entrepreneurs and ultimately, employers not the employed.
