AABS Connect Annual Conference to be held in SBS on 18th to 22nd May 2014

The annual AABS conference is scheduled to be held on the 18th to 22nd May 2014 and for the very first time it will be in Strathmore Business School. The conference, aims at connecting African Business School practitioners and thought leaders to encourage dialogue in search of competitive approaches to aid African business and management education growth strategy.

The theme of the conference will be “The Role of Business Schools in building lasting institutions in Africa.” The conference will see many leaders from all over Africa, Europe and The United States come together to share ideas and re-define the responsibility that the business Schools have in ensuring that there are lasting institutions in Africa.

 

The five-day will also provide a platform for networking, exchange and reflection to about 80 delegates from about 30 countries. Great exposes will be presented about Africa’s competitiveness, the comparatives with other models in other developed countries, the skills and the human capital needed to get Africa ahead of the curve along with the lessons to learn about Finance from global models and most importantly the role of Business Schools as generators of pragmatic pedagogical models and actionable research to set the tone for a more coherent Africa.
