12th Annual Career Fair Successfully Takes Place

The 12th Annual Career Fair successfully took place with up to 29 companies attending the event to interact with students on career options. The insightful event, organized by Strathmore University Career Development Services, was well attended by not only current Strathmore students but also alumni, who grabbed the opportunity to find out how they can further their career.

 

Industry representatives at the event included; KCB Group, Deloitte Kenya, NIC Bank, Ernest & Young, Future First, Kenya Association of Stockbrokers and Investment Bakers, Kapa_Oil Refineries, Dalberg Global Development Advisors, Fairmont The Norfolk Hotel, Grant Thornton, Jumia Kenya, General Electric, Copy Cat Limited, Orange Kenya, Vivo Energy, Ecotourism Kenya, Proctor and Gamble, Mckinsey and Company, Umati Capital, Open Capital, Safaricom Limited, Dark and Lovely, Unilever Careers, ICT Authority, Citi, Kenic Limited, Techno Brain and Britam Insurance Financial Advisor.  

 

During the event, students got the opportunity to sign up for internships, inquire on job opportunities, learn about company expectations, and they even got a chance to be involved in competitions that saw some students win gifts. Some companies also sought to represent their brand in practicality. Beauty product companies such as Maybelline allowed the ladies to try out their make-up products.
