Completing your KCSE/A levels is a significant achievement, marking a journey from the roots of your nursery school dreams to the brink of the next chapter: university life.
As you stand at this crossroads, contemplating the course of your academic journey—degree or diploma, and in which field—questions swirl in your mind. Which university or college aligns with your chosen path of study?
Attending a university open day is the first step. Here’s a few reasons why;
- Come meet the University Support team
Attending an open day gives you an opportunity to interact and engage with the University Support team including the Admissions Office, Faculty staff, Career Services, Financial Aid and many more. This helps address any queries or concerns that you might have, making you feel confident and ready to start your university applications.
- Meet the current students
What better way to understand the true student experience than having enrolled students from different schools showcase their unique journeys? Their stories and journeys will provide you with valuable insights into university life, aiding you in making informed decisions.
- Explore Campus Facilities
During an open day, one gets the opportunity to check out the amazing facilities on campus, equipment, amenities and so much more. Taking a university tour lets you experience the campus atmosphere and see the classrooms.
Did you know that you have the option to take your Strathmore Entrance Examination on the day of the Open Day?
Before you attend the Open Days, here are some important things to bring and keep in mind:
- A print out of your KCSE results from the KNEC portal/IGCSE O/A Level results.

- 2 Passport size photos.
- Interview fees;
- Undergraduate courses and ACCA – Ksh. 2000.
