The School of Tourism & Hospitality proudly celebrates its inaugural graduating cohort of the Little Chefs Holiday Academy, an inspiring group of young learners who have taken their first confident steps into the world of culinary arts. Designed for children aged between 7 and 10 years, the programme blends fun, creativity and structured learning, proving that meaningful life skills can be nurtured from an early age.
Over five engaging weeks, the inaugural cohort explored age-appropriate cooking and baking techniques while developing essential life skills such as teamwork, responsibility and problem-solving. Guided by experienced facilitators, the children learned to follow recipes, practice kitchen safety, appreciate global cuisines and understand the importance of healthy eating. Beyond the kitchen, the programme enriched learning through farm visits, community service at children’s homes and a fun educational excursion experiences that broadened their social awareness and confidence.

The growth witnessed among these young chefs has been remarkable. With increased self-esteem and independence, each participant completed the programme with not only a certificate of completion but also a deeper sense of achievement and curiosity. Parents and guardians have praised the academy for creating a safe, engaging environment where children learn by doing—while having fun.
Following the success of this inaugural graduating group, the Little Chefs Holiday Academy is now inviting guardians to enrol their children for the upcoming 2026 cohorts. Two intakes are planned: July–August and November–December 2026, offering flexible scheduling and the same rich, hands-on learning experience. If you are looking to nurture your child’s creativity, confidence and life skills through a structured yet enjoyable programme, the Little Chefs Holiday Academy offers the perfect opportunity. Registration for the 2026 cohorts is now open.
