MBA for Executives

Strathmore Business School’s (SBS) Evening MBA is a programme designed for those who wish to broaden their knowledge and expertise without interrupting their careers.

It helps them develop their talent and harness competencies necessary for the next level by unlocking their inner potential to discover new horizons.

The main pedagogical tool is the case method which is central to the MBA learning experience and offers a unique opportunity for the application of new skills, tools, and ideas to real-life problems, to transform managers to virtuous leaders.

  • Cases based on local and regional held research by our own faculty and case pools from our international faculty are used, thus enabling students to react on both local and global business realities.

  • They describe actual management situations, engaging faculty and participants in an interactive process of analysis and in-depth discussion, with careful consideration on relevance and attainment of tangible results for participants and their companies.

Evening Programme

Intake: April
Time: 5.30 pm - 8.30 pm
Duration: 2 years

Attendance: Classes run on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and occasional Saturdays

1. Submission of Application Documents

- Completed Application Form
- Copies of degree certificate and transcripts
- Copy of National ID Card/Passport
- Detailed and Current Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Coloured Passport Photo (taken in the last 6 months)
- Two Reference Letters (one professional and one academic/personal)
- High school Certificate

2. Schedule Entrance Exam
- Written Test
- Oral Interview

3. Admission and payment of commitment fee
- Commitment fee is Ksh 300,000 which is part of the total fee

4. Start of programme
- April (Evening)
- March (Modular)

The case method used provides a unique learning experience which is participant centered and gives practical knowledge, ready for application. Our faculty constitutes of experts in various fields of specialization required for true leadership transformation.

SBS alumni span the globe, from CEOs and MDs, industry experts, engineers, hoteliers, doctors and academicians in different fields. The composition of the Executive Education participants and the MBA for executives allow for exchange of ideas.

Use of local and international case studies, the global module in IESE Business School, industry experts and one on one interaction helps to get a deep understanding of modern leadership and management trends.
