Macheo Program students record high grades in 2015 KCSE results

Macheo, an out school tutorial and mentorship program run by Strathmore University’s Community Service centre recorded a great improvement in its second year of running. As per 2015 KCSE results, seven students have qualified for University Education in contrast to 2014’s where only six made the cut off. While in 2014 the highest student score was a B minus, in 2015 they not only had five B minuses but also one B plan.

2015 results indicate an average increase in the Grade Point Average (GPA) by 1.16 across all subjects. Improvement in performance was reported in mainly four subjects namely Mathematics, Physics, History, and Business Studies which recorded improvements by 88%, 52%, 49% and 43% respectively.

The 2016 Form Four students enrolled in the program are upbeat and working hard to net higher results when they sit their KCSE exams at the end of the year.
