The Bachelor of Science in Computer Networks and Cyber Security is a course that prepares candidates to become specialists in the Telecommunications, Computer Networks, and Systems Security industry.
The programme is designed to meet the increasing demand in the marketplace for Telecommunication and Data Networks professionals with a wide knowledge of telecommunication networks, mobile networks, computer networks, emerging technologies, next-generation networks, technical skills in information systems security, and information technology business management.

Applicants must meet the following requirement:
• KCSE aggregate grade of B.
• 6 credits at O-level. A level 3 principal passes
• IB Diploma 34 points out of 45.
• A distinction in the Strathmore Entrance Exam.
• Proven leadership skills in school & community and outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities are an added advantage
All candidates meeting the entry requirement are required to sit the University entrance examination in English, Mathematics and an oral interview.
Interviews are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 am
Candidates are required to bring originals and photocopies of all relevant academic certificate, birth certificate or ID or passport, 2 passport-size photographs and KES 2,000 entrance exam fee
Intakes for the full-time programme are in April and June.
Only Strathmore DBIT graduates can qualify for exemptions.
