This one-week artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) course/workshop targets high school graduates, junior university students, Al and loT enthusiasts, and early AI/IoT career entrants. The aim of the course is to provide a hands-on introduction to the concepts and applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), using the Raspberry PI 4 platform. The course will cover topics such as Machine Learning (ML), computer vision, and sensor technology, as well as their real-world applications in areas such as transport, health, and agriculture.
Students will learn the basics of supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms and their techniques. Additionally, students will use Raspberry Pi to create projects that integrate AI and IoT while focusing on real-world use cases in transport, health and agriculture. Through a combination of lectures, coding exercises, and hands-on projects, students will develop skills in programming, data analysis, and problem solving.
The goal of the course is to give students a solid foundation in AI and IoT and to inspire them to pursue further studies and projects in these fields.
Duration:
The one-week AI and IoT course from 13th March to 18th March .
Days: Monday to Saturday.
Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Tea break : 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
Lunch Break: 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM .
Venue: School of Computing Engineering Sciences Engineering Labs.
