Strathmore University celebrates Mass of Saint Josemaria
Mass
The Regional Vicar of Opus Dei in Kenya, Monsignor Albert Pampillon, presided over the mass of St. Josemaria on Saturday 28th June 2008 at Strathmore University, graduation square.

He was accompanied by Frs.  John Shaw and Paul Mimbi. Other priests included Fr. Silvano Ochuodho, Fr. John Slinger, and Fr. Anthony Mwituria.    In the homily he made reference to the Pauline Year, which Pope Benedict declared and which started on that same Saturday.

It also touched on two round anniversaries of Opus Dei in 2008: 80 years since the foundation on 2nd October 1928; and 50 years from the beginning of Opus Dei in Kenya (and thus in Africa) in 1958.  The Mass was attended by about 3,000 people including many of our staff and students and their families.
