Strathmore Student Loan Scheme now operational
On Monday, 14th July, Strathmore University established a Kshs 280 million ($4.5 million equivalent) student loan scheme in conjunction with Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. Students pursuing diploma, undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University can now apply for a loans ranging from Kshs 50,000 to Kshs 240,000. Read more...

The 2008/2009 Academic year kicked off this week with students reporting for their classes on Monday 30th June 2008.  The new students include 229 BCOM students, 115 BBIT students as well as CPA and ACCA students. There is also a group of students who have started the new degree in Tourism and Hospitality and in Leadership and Management, who should be especially welcome.
